Book of Doom: Avengers: The Initiative #1
What better to celebrate the fourth day of the fourth month than by naming an Avengers title as this week’s Book of Doom? Well, maybe if Marvel had held off the release of the “New” Fantastic Four just one short week, that would have been more appropriate. Oh well, at least this gives me an excuse to buy Avengers: The Initiative #1.
I’m a big fan of series writer Dan Slott, but I’m hesitant of this book due to it’s involvement in the current mega-crossover running through Marvel Comics. No, not Back in Black. No, World War Hulk is still a few months away. I’m talking about that other mega-crossover. Here’s what the Marvel Hype Machine has to say:
